NUP Canada Diaspora Convention 2025

The third NUP Canada Diaspora Convention 2025 (NUP-CDC2025) will be hosted in Toronto, Ontario, Canada from 01st - 03rd  at Toronto Airport Marriott Hotel,  901 Dixon Rd, Etobicoke, ON M9W 1J5, Canada. NUP-CDC 2025 will focus on the protest vote 2026, governance, human rights and democracy in Uganda. We look forward to your presence at the convention as you soak in the sites and sounds of a City with such great history, culture and political significance.

Convention Aim

 

The NUP Canada Conference 2025 in Toronto seeks to empower Ugandans in the diaspora with the knowledge and tools to support democracy in Uganda. It aims to raise awareness about the impact of a protest vote in challenging oppressive leadership. The conference will provide a platform for discussions on political activism, electoral reforms, and civic engagement. Additionally, it will foster unity among Ugandans abroad, strengthening their role in advocating for change. Participants will learn how to mobilize resources and networks to support free and fair elections. Ultimately, the conference seeks to inspire a collective effort towards building a democratic and just Uganda.


Our Sessions

 

The NUP Canada Conference 2025 in Toronto will feature a variety of sessions designed to empower and engage participants. Sessions will include expert-led discussions on Uganda’s political landscape and the significance of a protest vote. Interactive workshops will provide strategies for community mobilization and grassroots activism. Panel discussions with political analysts and democracy advocates will offer insights on electoral reforms and governance. A dedicated youth session will focus on engaging the younger generation in civic leadership and activism. Networking forums will allow attendees to connect, collaborate, and build strong advocacy networks. Testimonies from activists and political leaders will inspire action and resilience. Digital activism training will highlight the role of social media in political engagement. These sessions aim to equip attendees with the knowledge, skills, and motivation to drive meaningful change.
