H.E David Lewis Lubongoya is a Ugandan lawyer, educator, and political strategist best known for his pivotal role in the country’s opposition movement. He  serves as the Secretary General of the National Unity Platform (NUP), the leading opposition party in Uganda.   Despite threats, surveillance, and harassment from state agencies, he remains steadfast in the fight against dictatorship, advocating for free and fair elections, rule of law, and the restoration of democratic norms in Uganda. 

Hon Joel Ssenyonyi is a Ugandan politician, former journalist, and the current Leader of Opposition in the Parliament of Uganda. He also serves as the Spokesperson of the National Unity Platform, the country’s leading opposition party.    In 2021, he was elected Member of Parliament for Nakawa West, becoming a strong advocate for justice, transparency, and good governance. As Leader of Opposition, he plays a vital role in holding the government accountable and pushing for democratic reforms.

Hon. Zaake Francis Butebi is a Ugandan politician, youth leader, and vocal human rights advocate, currently serving as the Member of Parliament for Mityana Municipality. A prominent figure in the National Unity Platform (NUP), Zaake is known for his fearless stance against injustice and government oppression. Rising to national prominence through his activism, he has been a constant voice for the youth and the marginalized, often challenging state brutality and corruption 

Ms. Nakato Brenda is a member of NUP Canada leadership council who served as the head of NUP toronto chapter 2019 to 2023. She is a reputable community leader.
